ABOUT 

Lubica is a UK-based Artist, Textile Print Designer, and Art Educator with a Master's degree in Art and a teaching qualification from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Slovakia.

With nearly ten years of experience in textile print design, she has worked both as an in-house designer for a London-based studio and as a freelance designer, creating prints for leading international fashion and lifestyle brands including Marks & Spencer, Calvin Klein, Anthropologie, DKNY, Hale Bob, and H&M.

Alongside her design practice, she has experience teaching both children and adults in the UK, drawing on her academic background and industry expertise. Her interests extend across a variety of creative disciplines, from traditional art techniques and textile design to creative learning and artistic exploration.

She believes that art can be a powerful tool for self-expression, confidence, and connection. Whether creating artwork, teaching, or developing new creative projects, she is passionate about making art accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

She is currently focusing on developing her educational practice through workshops, creative classes, and one-to-one sessions for adults, creative practitioners, and organisations.

Her approach is collaborative and responsive. She is open to collaborations with schools, companies, and cultural spaces, developing sessions that are shaped around the people involved and the context in which they take place.

As her practice continues to evolve, she remains curious about the ways art can support learning, wellbeing, and self-expression, and welcomes opportunities to explore these ideas through collaboration, teaching, and creative projects that bring people together.
